Good engagement with directors and Chair while also appreciating their time commitments and challenging diaries- the flexibility shown was appreciated by all.
Production of early draft reports to allow us brief Chairs etc in advance of final documents- this helped us prepare for AFICs and Boards and made sure we could be fully prepared in the run up to boards- - may seem a small point but was very important to us in the midst of busy schedules etc
Don’t leave your organisation’s future to chance. Ensure your board has the right skills to navigate upcoming challenges and opportunities.
An overall skills audit should be conducted approximately every three years to align with your company’s strategic planning cycle. The audit should be reviewed annually to ensure its relevance, or when a Board vacancy arises.
We have conducted a number of these in the commercial semi-state and not-for-profit sectors.
The time to complete an audit varies depending on the size and complexity of the Board , and the sector in which it operates. On average, it can take up to 3 months to allow for adequate consultation with key stakeholders.
We do not assist in the recruitment process but we can help to define the skills profile of the individual required.
